SACO — The Saco Grange #53 at 168 North St. in Saco is gearing up for numerous activities scheduled throughout the remainder of 2018.

Here’s a rundown of what’s coming to the Saco Grange in the months ahead:

• Saturday Oct. 6: Jerry Sander’s Country Music Concert from 6 to 8 p.m. free refreshments & coffee. $5 donation appreciated at the door. 50/50 raffle.

• Friday, Oct. 12 Basic Knitting or crocheting class from 6 to 8 p.m. Must email sacogrange53@gmail.com with which type of instruction that you want — knitting or crocheting. Cost is $10 and a $7 material charge if you need supplies. Class size is limited.

• Tuesday, Oct. 9: Monthly Meeting at 7 p.m. Potluck at 6:30 p.m., Consider joining a growing community organization.

• Tuesday Oct. 16, Quilt Club from 6 to 9 p.m. Join a fun group learning new techniques for quilting for various charities.  $5 donation appreciated.

• Saturday, Oct. 20, Public Bean Supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Adults $8, Children 12 under $4, Children 5 and under are free. On the menu are homemade kidney and pea beans, brown bread, red and brown hot dogs, American chop suey, coleslaw, biscuits, pies and hot and cold beverages.  Don’t have time to stop — we do take out.

• Tuesday, Nov. 6, Quilt Club from 6-9pm. Join a fun group learning new techniques for quilting for various charities.  $5 donation appreciated.

• Wednesday, Nov. 7, Essential Oils class at 6:30 p.m.. Come learn more about essential oils and see what we have that can help you in your daily life.

• Saturday, Nov. 10, Holiday Craft Fair from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Free admission to a dozen made-in-Maine quality crafts, including quilts, candles, bird houses, sculpture, and much more. All Maine items, with no commercial vendors. Come shop, and join in the holiday cheer.
