BIDDEFORD —  Mary Narsiff, age 77,  died on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at St. Andre’s Health Care facility.

She was born in Biddeford on May 27, 1941, daughter of James and Catherine (Shoureas) Drakoulakos.  She was educated in the Biddeford School System.

On Dec. 10, 1961 she married John W. Narsiff, Jr.

Mary was a stay at home mom, a loving mother and devoted wife.  She loved cooking, sewing, shopping and taking long walks on Hills Beach and Old Orchard Beach. Mary had a heart of gold. She was a compassionate, caring person and it showed in the way she took care of her family and others.  A woman of deep faith she was involved in Saint Mary’s Church as a sodality member, St Frances College guild, currently the University of New England and a Steward at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her sister Irene Jones.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years John W. Narsiff, Jr.; daughters Christina Pike, her husband Peter and their children Sophia and Mia, Catherine Caron, her husband Michael and their children  Skylar and Finn, and Cynthia Morse, her husband Kevin and their children  Christina and Norissa; sons John Narsiff,  his wife Sharon and their children Matthew and Kaitlyn, William Narsiff, his wife Toni and their children Niko and Rocco, and Robert Narsiff; her sisters Koula C. Litsinberger, Georgia Button and Florence Duncan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Following Mary’s wishes there are no calling hours.  Service will take place on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will follow in St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Biddeford.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Mary’s memory may do so to the Parkinson’s Foundation 200 SE 1st Street Suite 800 Miami, FL 33131.

The family has entrusted arrangements to Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
