BIDDEFORD — Joseph “Raymond” Tremblay, 90, of Biddeford, passed away early Thursday morning on Nov. 29, 2018, at the Southridge Living Center after a period of declining health.
He was born in Biddeford, on April 18, 1928, the son of Pierre and Celina (Bergeron) Tremblay.
Joseph served his country in the United States Army as a chef for two years. After the service, he was employed in various restaurants and later in the textile industry until his retirement.

The family would like to thank Carol “The Boss” and caregivers at Southridge Living Center for their care and compassion shown to “Joe” throughout his stay.
He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, among them: Lorraine (Anastasoff) and Larry Knight of Berwick, Robert and Brenda Anastasoff of Saco, Conrad and Therese Tremblay of Acton, and Marc and Gail Tremblay of Limington.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. His resting place is alongside his mom who he was devoted to and cared for until her passing in 1986.
