PORTLAND — Online registration at https://bit.ly/2B6q0Cl is open for the annual Polar Bear Dip & Dash held Dec. 31 at East End Beach.
The 5K run and dip in Casco Bay benefits the Natural Resources Council of Maine. It begins at 11 a.m., with the dip scheduled for noon.
Registrations will also be accepted the day of the event, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Back Cove parking lot. Following the dip, shuttle buses will return participants to their cars.
