SOUTH PORTLAND — The city’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Rotary Club of South Portland-Cape Elizabeth are partnering for the seventh year to present the annual WinterFest celebration.
On Friday, Jan. 25, activities will be concentrated at Mill Creek Park and include skating, a fire pit, a warming pit, live music, family games and refreshments.
On Saturday, Jan. 26, the public is welcome invited for sledding, disc golf, horse-drawn wagon rides, obstacle courses and other activities at the Wainwright Recreation Complex off Highland Avenue. There will also be an ice rink, donated by Port Harbor Marine, fireworks and commercial food trucks.
Local businesses sponsor the various events, and all proceeds benefit the Rotary Club’s charitable causes.
