SOUTH PORTLAND — Tuesday night’s City Council meeting was postponed to Thursday, Feb. 14, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall because of an expected snowstorm.
The council was slated to receive a presentation from Finance Director Greg L’Heureux and Hank Farrah, of Runyon Kersteen Ouellette, on the 2018 fiscal year audit, and an update from Water Resource Protection Director Pat Cloutier on improvements to stormwater drainage at Willard Beach.
Later in the meeting, the council was scheduled to hold a workshop discussion on a proposed ordinance that would formalize a process for designating historic buildings and inclusion of an “adaptive reuse special exception” to facilitate the reuse of historic buildings in residential zones by allowing additional types of uses that currently are not allowed.
