Author and syndicated cartoonist Lincoln Peirce draws Big Nate at a special Westbrook Middle School event Tuesday. Peirce, of Portland, talked to the student body about the ins and outs of cartooning, his Big Nate comic strip, which appears in over 200 newspapers, and his popular series of books. He told students the comic series may be turned into a TV show someday.
