Despite rainy and foggy weather on Saturday, April 20, the GreenME Up event hosted by Girl Scouts of Maine at L.L. Bean in Freeport celebrated Earth Day and brought out scores of girls and their families. There were more than two dozen stations that taught specific skills or provided information about the health of the planet. Among them were Junior Maine Guides Addie Dolley, far left, and Sammy Dudley providing instruction about how to pack and carry a backpack. (Dudley Warner / For The Forecaster)
