BATH – Suzanne E. Wilhelm, 68, of Washington Street, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at her residence.

She was born in Utica, Mich., on Feb. 21, 1951, a daughter of Charles and Florence Hayes. Suzanne graduated from St. Lawrence Catholic School in Michigan. On Dec. 18, 1971, she married Scott S. Wilhelm and they traveled throughout the world while serving in the United States Navy. In 1975, they moved to Maine. She was employed at Sup Ship in Bath retiring in 2004 as Superintendent of the Logistics Department.

Suzanne volunteered at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick and helped Maintain Baths City Garden.

She enjoyed redoing old furniture, gardening, reading, bird watching, crafts and especially spending time with her family and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Scott S. Wilhelm of Bath; two sons, Nick Wilhelm and his wife, Stephanie, of Woolwich and Steve Wilhelm of Bath; her mother, Florence Hayes; one sister, Lois Hayes Schmidt; two brothers, Michael Hayes and Robert Hayes; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Wilhelm and Ethan Wilhelm, many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath.
