5/6 at 1:45 p.m. Peter C. Knickles, 60, of Cushing Street, Brunswick, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Dennis Ryder on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating conditions of release.

5/8 at 7:44 p.m. A juvenile was arrested by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of simple assault.
