BATH — United Way of Mid Coast Maine’s Annual Meeting will be held 8 a.m. Thursday at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath. All members of the community are invited to attend and can register online at uwmcm.org or by calling (207) 443-9752. 

Sagadahoc County Sheriff Joel Merry will give the keynote address “Beyond General Public Safety: the Role of Law Enforcement.” Merry will discuss what is being done and what can be done to make our communities better for everyone, including children, seniors, and those of any age who, for a variety of reasons, are vulnerable. 

Board members will be elected at this meeting. 

Community Builder Awards will be presented to organizations and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the Mid Coast Maine community.
