Community benefit supper – Saturday, May 25, 5-6 p.m., Buxton United Methodist Church, 276 Chicopee Road, Buxton. To help local seniors with heat and electric bills. Baked ham, beans, casseroles, dessert and coffee. $5, $3.

Free community meal – Wednesday, May 29, 5-6 p.m., Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St., Westbrook. A hot meal and good fellowship sponsored by Wayside Food Services and Trinity Lutheran Church of Westbrook.

Boy Scouts pancake breakfast – Saturday, June 1, 7-9:30 a.m., Riverbank Park, Main Street, Westbrook. Sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 87. Pancakes (regular, blueberry, and chocolate chip), French toast, eggs, sausages, baked beans, corned beef hash and beverages. $6, $3.
