I support Brian Cashin for election to the Cumberland Town Council. Beginning with his joining of the Fire Department, Brian has made several contributions to our town over the last few years. He served as vice chairman of the Fire Station Building Committee and was personally responsible for over $200,000 of cost reductions due to his facilities management background. He’s providing useful information as a member of the committee researching the purchase of a new fire truck. On top of all of this he’s become a paramedic and chairman of the Aging in Place Committee. As a councilor I’ve bounced many thoughts and ideas off him.

Since it’s been six years since we’ve had any turnover on the council, I believe that Brian will bring fresh thoughts, ideas and perspectives to the organization.
