I am proud to support Peter Fromuth for Town Council in Yarmouth. There are several reasons why this standout newcomer is the best possible addition to the council. An experienced State Department planner and diplomat, his non-partisan attitude towards making decisions is both refreshing and absolutely necessary. He is open to vetting all ideas thoroughly, looking at long-term and short-term perspectives, supporting policies for their economic and social benefit and feasibility. His forward-thinking plans are detailed and demonstrate his highest priorities as a future councilor: preserving the historic character of Yarmouth, while striving for economic and environmental sustainability, affordable housing, better transit, park and trail systems, and making Yarmouth an even better place to live.
