FALMOUTH — The Parish of the Holy Eucharist will spend the weekend of June 8 and 9 promoting three initiatives that focus on being good stewards of the environment.
“Go Green!” will be held at all four parish churches – Holy Martyrs, 266 Foreside Road in Falmouth; St. Jude’s, 134 Main St., Freeport; St. Gregory’s, 24 North Raymond Road, Gray, and Sacred Heart, 326 Main St. in Yarmouth.
The weekend’s events include an e-waste collection from 3-5 p.m. June 8 in Falmouth, Yarmouth, and Gray, and from 7 a.m.-noon on June 9, at all four churches.
Parishioners will also be encouraged to make their weekly offering online, instead of using paper envelopes. In addition, they’ll be asked to sign up for a digital bulletin, instead of receiving a paper copy.
