WELLS  — The following individuals were arrested or issued a summons by Wells Police from June 18 to June 23:

• Allison M. Roberts 25, of Wells, was arrested after a traffic stop by officers on Wire Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was released on $200 bail and was given a July 16 court date in York District Court to answer the charge.

• Gabriel Rider 19, of Buford, Georgia, was issued a summons for possession of a useable amount of marijuana by a minor after officers investigated the report of a disturbance in the parking lot of McDonald’s Restaurant. He was given an Aug. 20 court date in York District Court to answer the charge.

• Brian N. Keith 63, of Oneco, Connecticut, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop by officers on Post Road. He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and given an Aug. 20 court date in York District Court to answer the charge.

• Cindy R. Arpin 57, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, was arrested and charged with criminal threatening after officers responded to the parking lot of the Maine Diner on Post Road for the report of a disturbance. She was remanded to the York County Jail and was given a July 16 court date in York District Court to answer the charge.

Arrests and summons issued by police do not constitute guilt, they are a charge issued by a law enforcement agency and individuals are considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
