Freeport Community Services is accepting nominations for the Carol Kaplan Award.  The award recognizes an individual or individuals who have a demonstrated positive effect on the clients of Freeport Community Services and/or the organization itself.

The award will be presented at the FCS Annual meeting in October.

The Award is named in memory of Carol Kaplan who worked closely with FCS for many years as Freeport’s General Assistance Administrator.

“While we have always had tremendous support and the Kaplan award is one of the ways we are able to recognize and celebrate an individual whose tireless efforts helps contribute to the FCS mission” said Executive Director Paula Paladino in a press release.

Last year’s recipient was the BackPack Program Committee, one of FCS’ newest programs.
