Thornton Academy Trojans lost the one that mattered on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland. Despite beating the Bonny Eagle Scots during the regular season, the Trojans lost the Class A state championship 34-21. The loss ended the defending champion team’s 22-game winning streak.
