My concern is how LogistiCare runs.

I’m a former rider with them. There have been times when I had an appointment at the doctor’s office. The driver would come one hour before my appointment and wouldn’t pick me up until an hour and a half after. There were times when I had another appointment on the same day and I had to reschedule the appointment.

The ride must be scheduled two days in advance. I’ve talked to several others who had the same problem.

Living with a disability, we live on a small income and can’t afford to take a taxi or Uber. LogistiCare is the only way that we can get to our appointments.

I remember, one time, when I was discharged, the man who was supposed to pick me up and take me home refused to take my belongings. They had to bring it home to me using the hospital van.

I called LogistiCare and they said it wasn’t their fault. There should be a better way for LogistiCare to treat their riders.
