Mother Nature has been doing her part, and now it’s time for you to break out your cross-country skis. Smiling Hill Farm is known for its dairy products and farm animals, and in the winter, it’s also a cross-country skiing hot spot. They’ve got more than 15 miles of trails which are groomed for tracked skiing. Leashed dogs are allowed on weekdays, and you can rent skis and snowshoes for an additional fee. Hit the dairy store for a variety of artisanal cheeses, along with daily lunch specials.
