WELLS — Grace Ramsdell scored 20 points, and Wells withstood a school-record 37-point game by Kennebunk’s Emily Archibald to earn a 50-48 girls’ basketball win Friday.

Mallory Aromando added nine points for Wells, which rallied from a 38-31 deficit after three quarters.

Archibald, a 6-foot-2 senior, made six 3-pointers.

SANFORD 51, NOBLE 48: Abby Toothaker scored 13 points and Jaylyn Bartolome added 11 to lead the Spartans (2-1) to a victory against the Knights (1-2) in Sanford.

Toni Parker finished with nine points for Sanford.

Noble got 11 points from Paige Santiago and nine from Tianna Valle.

MASSABESIC 64, BIDDEFORD 46: Hannah Samson scored 20 points as the Mustangs (2-0) cruised past the Tigers (0-4) at Waterboro.

Marissa Holt helped with 14 points and Mary Duffy added 10. Massabesic led 38-20 at halftime.

Hannah Gosselin scored 11 points for Biddeford.

GORHAM 54, BONNY EAGLE 18: Anna Nelson recorded 19 points as the Rams (5-0) cruised past the Scots (1-2) in Gorham.

KENNEBUNK 73, WELLS 69: Adam Lux dropped in 22 points to help the Rams (1-0) edge the Warriors (0-3) in Kennebunk.

Aaron Waitt chipped in with 17 points, and Ian Murray and Sam Tartre each had 10.

Gavyn Leighton scored 19 points to lead Wells. Caleb Corey followed with 18, and Brayden Fazzina put in 15.

FALMOUTH 75, CHEVERUS 49: Brady Coyne scored 24 points, and the Yachtsmen (3-0) pulled away in the second half against the Stags (0-3) in Falmouth.

Jack Stowell added 18 points, Sean Dilworth had 12 and Ethan McKee pitched in with 11 for Falmouth, which outscored Cheverus 41-22 in the second half

Seth Huntington led Cheverus with 12 points.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 48, TRAIP ACADEMY 33: The Seagulls (2-1) got 15 points from Ryan Crockett and 11 apiece from Landen Johnson and Zach LaPlante in a win over the Rangers (1-2) at Kittery.

Treshaun Brown led Traip with nine points, while Ryan Wilcox added eight.

THORNTON ACADEMY 63, SCARBOROUGH 38: Dylan Griffin scored 19 points and Payton Jones added 15 as the Trojans (4-1) defeated the Red Storm (1-3) in Saco.

ST. DOM’S 3, YARMOUTH 2: Bella Webster scored two goals, including the winner, to boost St. Dom’s/Winthrop/Gray-New Gloucester over Yarmouth/Freeport.

Webster broke a 2-2 tie with 7:22 remaining. Her goal was set up by Bella Pelletier. Taryn Cloutier also scored for the Saints.

Rosie Paneka and Lizzie Guertler scored for Yarmouth/Freeport.
