CUMBERLAND — Camille Clement scored nine early points to help Greely jump out to a 12-point lead in the first quarter on their way to a 54-30 girls’ basketball victory Thursday night against Edward Little.

Clement finished with 26 points. Halle Roy contributed 16 and Sophia Ippolito chipped in with 10 as Greely improved to 6-1.

Nikkie Clark led Edward Little (2-6) with eight points.

FREEPORT 46, CAPE ELIZABETH 26: Rachel Wall scored 14 of her 22 points in the first half as the Falcons (2-4) built a 25-9 halftime lead in a win over the Capers (2-4) at Cape Elizabeth.

Mason Baker-Schlenderling added nine points.

Emily Supple led Cape Elizabeth with nine points.

OAK HILL 51, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 27: Anna Beach led Oak Hill (5-1) with 17 points in a win over the Patriots (3-2) in Wales.

Gabby Chessie dropped in 14 points.

Amber Fortin scored nine points for Gray-New Gloucester.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 81, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 60: Ryan Crockett led the Seagulls (4-3) with 30 points as they defeated the Guardians (1-5) at Old Orchard Beach.

Landon Johnson tossed in 15 points for Old Orchard.

Ethan Huss paced Seacoast Christian with 23 points. Caleb Vega had a career-high 21 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

POLAND 56, OAK HILL 43: Isaiah Hill led a balanced attack with 14 points as the Knights (5-1) defeated the Raiders (3-3) in Poland.

Hunter Gibson chipped in with 13 points and Evan Kelly had 10 points.

Gavin Rawstron scored 15 points for Oak Hill.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

MARSHWOOD 5, YORK 2: Caden Fontaine and JJ Reeve scored in a 56-second span early in the second half as Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/York (2-2-1) broke a 2-2 halftime tie against York (1-1) at Dover Ice Arena.

Fontaine also scored in the first half. Eli Chilicki had a goal and an assist, and Mikey Doran got a late goal for the KnightHawks. Sumner Wood recorded 20 saves.

Aidan Martin and Tyler Conant scored for York, while Troy Nelson turned aside 33 shots.

GREELY 3, BRUNSWICK 1: Gage Cooney scored the go-ahead goal on a power play midway through the second half as the Rangers (6-1) beat the Dragons (3-4) at Falmouth’s Family Ice Center.

Tom Labbe put Brunswick ahead 3:27 into the contest, assisted by Nick Marro.

Evan Dutil tied it 6:36 into the second half with the first of his two goals.

Spencer Marquis stopped 38 shots for Brunswick.

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

CAPE ELIZABETH 7, FALMOUTH 4: Bella Schifano scored four goals Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland (6-0) defeated Falmouth (0-4) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Koto Yamada added two goals and an assist, and Annie Guimond also scored for the Capers.
