SANFORD — Walk-in vaccinations will  be available 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 8 a.m. to noon Friday, April 30, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 at the Sanford mass vaccination site at the former Marshall’s location at the Center for Shopping, 1364 Main St.  Maine residents 18 and older will be able to receive the first dose of the Moderna vaccine at those times without an appointment.

For those who prefer, prescheduled appointments are also available for these clinic times by visiting www.vaccine.mainehealth.org. MaineHealth’s online system allows Mainers the option of scheduling an appointment immediately once they take the initial step of registering in the system. Mainers can also call 1-877-780-7545 to register and will subsequently be notified when an appointment is available.  

The Sanford high-volume vaccination clinic is operated through a partnership between MaineHealth, York County Emergency Management Agency and the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
