June 8 is the date for Portland voters to select nine people to become members of the Charter Commission, the body tasked with defining city government and setting in motion the apparatuses for dealing with crucial issues of Portland citizens.

Cheryl Leeman, a veteran public servant with 30 years experience and proven leadership, is a candidate in District 4. Cheryl will bring expertise, openness and advocacy, along with her ability to put the city of Portland and her people above politics.

Cheryl brings a sense of place by which she can see what it is that makes Portland unique, i.e., the city’s history and diversity of population.

Cheryl Leeman is an excellent choice for charter commissioner.
