FREEPORT — Jake Gautreau pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts as Yarmouth shutout Freeport 6-0 Tuesday in baseball.

Gautreau walked none and never went to a three-ball count.

Yarmouth (8-2) provided Gautreau with a 2-0 lead in the second inning, then put it away with a three-run seventh.

Blaine Cockburn of Freeport (9-1) walked four and struck out 10 in six innings.

CAPE ELIZABETH 6, GREELY 0: Curtis Sullivan pitched a two-hitter and Colin Smith broke a scoreless tie with a two-run single in the sixth inning as Cape Elizabeth (5-5) defeated Greely (5-3) at Cumberland.

Sullivan struck out five and walked six, but Greely left eight runners stranded.

Greely starter Zach Johnston, who is heading to the University of Maryland, struck out 14 and walked one in six innings. The Capers then scored four in the sixth.

PORTLAND 7, DEERING 3: Danny Tocci pitched a six-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks, and Henry Bibeau hit a two-run single and an RBI double as the Bulldogs (2-5) handled the Rams (0-10) at Portland.

Nick Becker had three hits, an RBI and two runs scored.

Cuest Newhall led Deering with an RBI single.

THORNTON ACADEMY 2, BIDDEFORD 1: Brady Graffam pitched a six-hitter with three strikeouts, and had an RBI single as the Trojans (7-1) edged the Tigers (4-5) at Saco.

Henry Lausier also had an RBI single.

FALMOUTH 7, WINDHAM 0: Extra-base hits from Sean Dillworth and Sam Kitter helped the Yachtsmen (7-2) beat the Eagles (2-8) at Falmouth.

Ben Wilson picked up the win. Brennan Runts added a double.

Windham catxher Brady Afthim threw out two baserunners.

BONNY EAGLE 10, WESTBROOK 0: Nate Moore pitched a two-hit complete game as the Scots (2-5) beat the Blue Blazes (2-7) at Standish.

Jacob Humphrey had two hits for Bonny Eagle, including a double. Nathan Morse and Mason Ryan also had multiple hits.

Kaden Dow had two hits for Westbrook.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Fryeburg Academy (8-3) broke open a tie game with a five-run seventh inning and defeated the Patriots (2-10) at Gray.

Gray-New Gloucester gave up five walks and hit five batters.

Fryeburg stole five bases.

GORHAM 11, CHEVERUS 1: Cody Sellick hit a bases-loaded triple during a seventh-run fifth inning as the Rams (7-3) broke open a tight game and defeated Cheverus (7-4) in six innings at Gorham.

Gorham had five hits in the fifth after entering the inning with a 2-1 lead.

Caleb Hendrix finished with three hits for the Rams.

MARSHWOOD 10, MASSABESIC 5: Noah Fitzgerald pitched a five-hitter with two strikeouts, and Reed Smaracko had two hits and four RBI as the Hawks (8-5) cruised past the Mustangs (5-5) at Waterboro.

Henry Dimmerling hit a two-run double. Jackson Pollaro had two hits and an RBI. Fitzgerald added one hit and scored three times.
