I am grateful that the scientific research for a COVID vaccine essentially began a decade ago. Otherwise, we could still be praying that a vaccine will be developed.

I’m grateful for the people who helped carry the burden for our recovery while we waited. They wore masks and kept their distance, protecting others from getting sick. I’m grateful that we’re getting our lives back.

As more people get their shots, we get to safely gather together again.

Perhaps one day the vaccination naysayers, the doubters, the worriers will realize this is being done for them, too. They might even go get vaccinated.
