The Muddy Rudder is now serving Gifford’s ice cream scooped or blended as a frappe in the dining room and at its new walk-up takeout window. Classic flavors and weekly specials are available. 1335 U.S. Route 1, Yarmouth, 846-3082.

Portland Wine Week, June 14-20, is filled with over 90 events that include celebrations of women in the wine industry, tastings, dinners and lunches, wine sails, classes, food pairings, local oysters and more. The Maine Oyster Festival is happening in Freeport from June 24-26. It is a celebration of local oysters and oyster farmers up and down the Maine coast. Oyster dishes will be available at Freeport restaurants and food trucks, educational activities and shucking demonstrations are planned all along the coast as well as crafts, music, local beers and many more activities. A new celebration of lobsters is coming in September. The Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative is sponsoring Maine Lobster Week from Sept. 19-25 with food purveyors preparing dishes of all kinds featuring lobster and celebrating all areas of the lobster industry. Pineland Farms in New Gloucester is hosting Rustic Taps & Catering at the Welcome and Market Center. The next Graze at Pineland Farms is from 6-9 p.m. June 11 with four courses featuring Snell Family Farm ingredients and including canapes, summer salad, sautéed mussels, crispy fried chicken and lavender cake.
