Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s latest attempt to sabotage the Postal Service cannot be ignored.

His new 10-year proposal would eliminate first-class mail from being shipped by air, thus slowing down the mail. He wants to raise rates and lower the hours post offices are open.

Additionally, this man – who has owned millions of dollars in stock in private delivery services – wants to subcontract delivery service to private carriers.

This is a major conflict of interest. Thankfully, the Senate has approved all three of President Biden’s nominees to fill vacant seats on the Postal Service Board of Governors. The board has the right to change the postmaster general. The sooner DeJoy is gone, the better.
