People Plus welcomes art instructor Ed Higgins to the senior center in Brunswick. Higgins is a Brunswick artist and graphic designer, educated in art and art history at Skidmore College and at the Fine Arts Department of the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Higgins teaches art for all skill levels on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 am. Instructional topics include tools/materials, sketchbooks, composing a drawing and drawing to prepare for work in other mediums. He also oversees a Tuesday Art Club that provides free time for folks to practice their work. Registration is required: $5 for People Plus members, $10 non-members.
