Re: “Troopers’ team uses methods vulnerable to racial bias” (Jan. 23, Page A1):
I have to wonder, with all the recent horrific ambushes against law enforcement officers across the country, why did your newspaper decide to jump on the anti-law enforcement bandwagon and run a negative article about the Maine State Police Proactive Criminal Enforcement Team?
This team is crucial to keeping dangerous illegal drugs out of our state.
Is your paper not aware of the illegal drug epidemic in Maine? Is the Press Herald’s leftist bias so unchecked that it was necessary to further stoke hatred toward our hardworking law enforcement agents?
I’m disgusted and will be canceling my subscription.
