AUBURN — Sarah Moore scored all four goals as third-seeded Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Lincoln Academy earned a 4-0 win over No. 6 Yarmouth/Freeport in a North girls’ hockey quarterfinal Wednesday night at Norway Savings Bank Arena.

Moore opened the scoring in the first period, then added two goals in the second and one in the third as the Eagles (14-3-1) advanced to face second-seeded Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland.

Yarmouth/Freeport ended its season with a 6-9 record.

EDWARD LITTLE 9, BRUNSWICK 0: Caroline Audette recorded a hat trick and added two assists, and Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland (10-5-2) advanced to the North semifinals by shutting out the No. 7 Dragons (3-14) at Auburn’s Norway Savings Bank Arena.

Eve Martineau added two goals and an assist, and Megan Lachance, Kylee Spugnardi, Sophia Hartley and Audrey Day each scored once.

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, PORTLAND/DEERING 2: Libby Hooper and Delaney Whitten each had two goals and assist as top-seeded Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland (12-2-2) defeated No. 8 Portland/Deering (2-15) in a South quarterfinal at Troubh Ice Arena.

The Capers broke open a tight game with a six-goal outburst in the second period. Marina Bassett and Katherine Blackburn each contributed a goal and two assists. Kierith Gentilini and Catie Lee also scored for Cape.

Jane Flynn got both goals for Portland/Deering.

ST. DOM’S 4, WINSLOW 3: West Duffy completed a hat trick in the second overtime, lifting fifth-seeded St. Dominic/Winthrop/Gray-NG/Monmouth (6-9) over No. 4 Winslow/Gardiner/Cony/Lawrence/Messalonskee/Brewer (6-7) in a North quarterfinal in Hallowell.

St. Dom’s trailed 3-1 midway through the third period, but Emily Andrews started the Saints’ comeback and Duffy tied it with 4:30 remaining.

Jordin Williams scored twice for the Black Tigers, including a short-handed tally that made it 2-1 in the second period. Kaylyn Bourque extended the lead late in the second.

SCHAFFER AWARD: Eight semifinalists have been announced for the fifth annual Becky Schaffer Award, given to Maine’s top high school senior in girls’ hockey.

The semifinalists were selected by the Maine High School Girls Hockey Association. They are: Caroline Audette, forward, of Edward Little/Leavitt; Olivia Bradford, forward, Cheverus; Calynn Gendreau, forward, Scarborough; Lilly Gish, defense, Lewiston; Kate Kinley, forward, Falmouth; Leah Landry, forward, Lewiston; Eve Martineau, defense, Edward Little/Leavitt; and Ariella Swett, goaltender, Scarborough.

The finalists will be announced after the state championship game on Feb. 19. The winner will be named at the conclusion of the Maine High School Girls Hockey Senior All-Star game, scheduled for Feb. 28 at 6:10 p.m. at Family Ice Center in Falmouth.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

GREELY 45, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 25: Chelsea Graiver scored 10 of her 21 points in the third quarter as the Rangers (13-4) used an 18-7 advantage to take control against the Patriots (12-6) at Gray.

Sophia Ippolito tossed in 15 points for Greely, which led 17-15 at halftime.

Isabelle Morelli led Gray-New Gloucester with eight points.

WELLS 48, YORK 29: Grace Ramsdell scored 14 of her 22 points in the first half, leading the Warriors (17-1) past the Wildcats (9-5) in Wells.

Wells led 14-8 after one quarter following a 3-pointer at the buzzer, then broke it open with a 17-4 edge in the second quarter.

Ava Kreie and Ruby McMinis each chipped in with eight points.

York was paced by Rose Pavuk with 11 points and Emily Rainforth with 10.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 70, SACOPEE VALLEY 23: Angel Huntsman recorded 10 points and 12 assists for the Panthers (13-2) in a win over the Hawks (2-15) at Yarmouth.

Sarah English and Madilyn Onorato each had 12 points and seven rebounds, Graca Billa added 11 points and Erin Reid chipped in with 10.

Emma Boulanger and Brooke Landry scored eight points apiece for Sacopee.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 50, ST. DOMINIC 30: Ellie Leach dropped in 23 points to lead the Guardians (10-5) to a win against the Saints (5-11) in Eliot.

Breckyn Winship added 18 points.

Jessie Zimmerman hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 points for St. Dom’s.

GARDINER 56, MORSE 34: Megan Gallagher scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Tigers (16-1) to a win in Gardiner.

Lizzy Gruber added 18 points, while Kylee Nichols chipped in with eight.

Morse (5-10) was led by Dakota Shipley with 18 points and Olivia Chabot with eight.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

GREELY 67, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 60: Andrew St. Hilaire scored 21 points to lead the Rangers (10-7) past the Patriots (10-8) in Cumberland.

Timothy Walker added 16 points and Dee Martin Coyne had 12 for Greely.

Nate Hebert and Anthony Prescott each tallied 13 points for Gray-New Gloucester. Jay Hawkes finished with 10.

YORK 53, WELLS 46: Kevin Burke recorded 22 points and 14 rebounds as the Wildcats (12-2) topped the Warriors (6-11) in York.

J.P. Frazier contributed 15 points. Jacob Fogg had seven points and five steals.

Devin Brown scored 11 points for Wells.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 61, SACOPEE VALLEY 34: Logan Welch knocked down five 3-pointers on the way to 20 points, leading the Panthers (9-6) to a win over the Hawks (4-13) in Hiram.

Joaquim Bila chipped in with 12 points.

Carson Black led Sacopee Valley with 17 points.

WAYNFLETE 49, TRAIP ACADEMY 36: Ed Cox scored 13 points for the Flyers (8-9) as they cruised past the Rangers (6-12) at Portland.

Demetrius Campbell contributed nine points.

Omar Dovesi and David Durling scored nine points apiece for Traip.

ST. DOMINIC 54, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 31: Jonathan Tangilamesu scored 12 points and Taylor Varney added 10 for the Saints (12-5) in a win over the Guardians (4-12) at Eliot.

Seacoast’s Isaiah Cardinal was the high scorer with 16 points.
