NEW HIRES

Jennifer McCormack

Jennifer McCormack has joined Rangeley Health and Wellness as executive director. McCormack previously held leadership roles in cancer prevention and mental health. For the past 25 years, she was part of Franklin Community Health Network.

Scarborough behavioral health and addiction treatment provider Crossroads has announced the following new hires:

Katherine Morris

Katherine Morris has joined Crossroads as program manager for the children and mothers program. Morris brings over 20 years of experience working in clinical mental health settings to her role as the program manager.

Rosalie Genova

Rosalie Genova joined the outpatient clinical team as a co-facilitator of Crossroads’ substance use intensive outpatient program. Genova brings eight years of clinical and management experience supporting clients with addiction and co-occurring disorders. In addition, she has served as a clinical supervisor for the Maine Driver Education and Evaluation Program clinical since 2020.

Samara Ganges

Samara Manges, a registered nurse, joined the Crossroads medical and clinical teams to support the clients in residential and outpatient treatment for co-occurring substance use and eating disorders. Manges has trained at Maine Medical Center, St. Mary’s Hospital, and served in various clinical and administrative roles in community health centers throughout New England.

Hannah Horrigan

Hannah Horrigan joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as branch relationship manager in Brunswick. Horrigan, of Topsham, began her professional career as a development assistant at the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. Most recently, she worked in supplier operations and logistics at Wayfair.

Cameron Peden

Cameron Peden has been hired as senior director, human resources at United Way of Southern Maine. Peden previously served as a human resources, compliance and marketing director at BCU Electric in Ashland, Ohio.

Timothy Stebbins

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland has hired Timothy Stebbins as principal of Holy Cross School in South Portland. Stebbins succeeds Cindy Elwood, who will be retiring. Stebbins has nearly 40 years of administrative and teaching experience at schools in Biddeford, Standish and Westbrook. He is currently the assistant director at the Biddeford Regional Center of Technology.

Portland-based workers’ compensation insurance provider The MEMIC Group has announced two hires:

Bill Newton

Bill Newton has been hired to serve as director of financial reporting. Newton, of South Portland, has more than 13 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, most recently reporting to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on behalf of publicly traded companies.

L.C. Cosey

L.C. Cosey has joined MEMIC as small business express production underwriter for the Southeast region. Cosey has more than a dozen years of experience in insurance underwriting, most recently as senior field underwriter for middle-market businesses at Builders Insurance Group of East Providence, Rhode Island.

Arianna Efstathiou

Portland law firm Perkins Thompson has hired Arianna Efstathiou as an associate attorney in the firm’s real estate practice group. Efstathiou graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 2020. As a law student, she was as an intern at a private boutique immigration law firm, and served two semesters in the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic at Maine Law.

William H. Leete, Jr.

William H. Leete, Jr. also has joined Perkins Thompson as an of-counsel attorney in the business and real estate practice groups. Leete represented a wide range of businesses and individuals in Maine for over 30 years.

PROMOTIONS

Perkins Thompson has announced two new shareholders at the firm. David C. Johnson joined the firm in 2019 as an associate in the business and real estate practice groups. Adam Nyhan joined the firm in 2019 as an of-counsel attorney in the business, software and startups, and banking and financial services practice groups.

Environmental consulting firm St. Germain in Westbrook has announced three promotions to shareholder:

Brian Bachmann

Brian Bachmann is a senior project manager specializing in environmental investigation and remediation. Bachmann has been with St. Germain for 16 years.

Erin Pike is a senior project manager specializing in due diligence environmental investigations. Pike has been with St. Germain for nine years.

Cheryl Ahearn

Cheryl Ahearn, company controller, has been with St. Germain for seven years.

Timothy Hall

The Lewiston Auburn 911 Emergency Communications Center Committee recently named Timothy Hall to be the center’s new director. Hall began his career in emergency communications in 2000 and worked for several agencies prior to joining Lewiston/Auburn 9-1-1.

Crossroads has announced three promotions:

Meghan Johnson

Meghan Johnson has been promoted to clinical supervisor. Johnson has provided clinical services to Crossroads clients with co-occurring eating disorders and addiction in both the outpatient and residential treatment programs since 2020. Prior to joining the clinical team at Crossroads, Meghan worked in the Boston area as a counselor.

Sarah Andreotta

Sara Andreotta has been promoted to outpatient clinical adviser. Andreotta joined the clinical team at Crossroads in 2020 and was promoted to clinical supervisor in 2021. Sarah has extensive experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, chronic relapse, trauma and PTSD.

Sam Fessman

Sam Fessman has been promoted to admissions and electronic systems manager. Fessman oversees admissions and assists with assessing clients for residential treatment for addiction and co-occurring eating disorders. He joined the admissions department in 2018 and was promoted to admissions manager in 2021.

Karen Schwartz

Karen Schwartz is vice president, underwriting compliance at MEMIC. Schwartz joined MEMIC in 2002 and took on her current role in 2017.

Tara K.C. McFadd

Tara K.C. McFadd is a senior director at Idexx. McFadd is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience developing novel therapeutics and diagnostic products. She joined Idexx in 2012 and is currently responsible for the global VetLab Chemistry product portfolio.
