The Grand Old Party is no longer the Republican Party. Too many of them have joined the party of Trumpism, where lying is acceptable and power and money are all that matter. Forget ethics, forget loyalty, forget caring about the people you were elected to serve.
They are obstructionists who want to make President Biden fail yet offer no solutions of their own to the problems we are facing. The only goal of the Trumpists is that Biden fails even when he is fighting to make things better for all Americans. Donald Trump (and now his sycophants) have no answers but to follow the Trump playbook chapter titled “The Blame Game.”
We can only hope that voters are paying attention in November 2022 and 2024.
