Nashville-based singer-songwriter Mindy Smith first drew recognition nearly two decades ago when her version of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” appeared on a tribute compilation album. Then in 2004, she released her debut “One Moment More,” which hit the Billboard Top Independent Albums and Top Heatseekers charts and is home to the track “Come To Jesus,” which made it to the Adult Top 40 chart. Since then, Smith has released four albums.

Texas-based rock band ZZ Top comes to town for a stop on its Raw Whisky tour. Featuring singer-guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and guitarist Elwood Francis, the band will tear the joint down with hits like “Legs,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’ ” and “Sharp Dressed Man.” You might find it hard to stay seated on your tush as the iconic band blazes with the fire that’s been burning for more than 50 years.
