On Nov. 8, voters get a chance to weigh in on the direction of our state. Barbara Bagshaw of Windham turned in her papers for District 106 state representative in November – some 10 months ago. It wasn’t a hasty decision. She counted the cost. She cleared her commitments. That’s what I want in a legislator: a well-thought-out plan of action.

She won her Republican primary with 68 percent of the votes against an individual who held that office twice previously. She is not a politician to profit her own agenda or to gain notoriety. Her aim is to represent “we the people.” You can trust her to keep her word.

No matter what the party label of residents, she sees a human being with concerns, grievances and worries – for themselves, their family and friends. She wants to hear those concerns. And she wants to help.

Join me in voting for Barbara Bagshaw.
