I support Republican Alan Livingston’s candidacy for the Maine House of Representatives.
Alan has spent his career educating our children and has long supported parental involvement. He has stood passionately against parental exclusion, feeling that no one knows the child better than the parents. He opposes the introduction of extreme ideologies that have recently been promoted by teachers’ unions, school boards and even teachers, without parental input.
His career spans more than 40 years on the South Portland City Council and Board of Education, as well as mathematics instruction at the high school and collegiate levels, and is unblemished – unlike his opponent, who has faced a recall.
His passion for fiscal responsibility will help overturn dangerous trends in state government. A vote for Alan Livingston is emphatically a vote for common sense!
