I write on behalf of John T. Devlin, M.D., MPH, and Jeffrey Saffer, M.D., and myself. As physicians and scientists, who have devoted our professional careers to improving the health and well-being of all Maine citizens, we enthusiastically support Democrat Anne Carney’s bid for reelection to the Maine Senate.
Anne has a proven record of enhancing access to health care for some of our most vulnerable citizens, including extension of the Children’s Health Insurance Program to families making up to 300 percent of the federal poverty level, and providing postpartum care for up to 12 months in those covered by MaineCare. She has also been endorsed by Healthcare For All Maine, working to ensure access to quality care for all Mainers.
Anne’s track record shows a commitment to providing universal free school meals for all our children as well as supporting Maine’s strategic plan to end hunger by 2030.
Anne deserves to go back to the Senate for the health of us all.
