I support Democrat Kendra Williams for Maine Senate District 33, representing Alfred, Lebanon, Sanford-Springvale and Waterboro. Kendra is an effective leader, with many professional and civic accomplishments to her credit. Her approach to understanding difficult issues and her leadership to build consensus has led to relevant, actionable and achievable solutions.
Kendra is a moderate, with pragmatic legislative priorities that include the Maine economy, education, child care, health care and senior citizen issues. District 33 will be well served with Kendra’s leadership to effect change and to get things done.
It is important to me that Kendra is a Maine Clean Elections Act candidate because privately funded campaign contributions are out of control and often infer allegiance to those contributing organizations. I know that Kendra’s priority is serving the people of District 33, not outside, private organizations.
