In the current midterm elections many, understandably, are weighing their concerns with immediate issues such as gas prices against their concerns for the future course of our democracy.
The choice seems somewhat akin to choosing between those office seekers promising a better deck chair arrangement on the Titanic and those who hold better promise for skillful navigation in the pilothouse.
