Hunter breakfasts

Hunters and other early birds are welcome to indulge in the hearty hunters breakfast that will be served from 5-10 a.m. Saturday mornings Nov. 5 through Nov. 26 at the Bridgton Community Center on Depot Street, behind Renys. The menu includes choice of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausages, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, and Tater Tots. Cost will be between $8 and $12, depending on how many items are selected. Winter clothing giveaway

Community HELP will hold a Winter Wear Giveaway at the Community Center from 2-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 6. Free winter clothing will be available to children who are Bridgton residents. Children must be present to try on clothing, and income verification forms (available on site) are required. Vote Tuesday

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8, and everyone who is eligible is encouraged to vote. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at  Bridgton Town Hall, 26 North High St. In addition to congressional contests and the governor’s race, voters will decide on state legislators, various local elected positions and a number of proposed local ordinances. Veterans Day service

American Legion Post 67 will hold a service to honor fallen veterans on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11. The event will take place at 10 a.m. in Farragut Park on North High Street, across from the Town Hall. All are invited to attend.

Farmers market relocates

The Bridgton Farmers Market will relocate to a new winter venue starting Saturday, Nov. 12. The winter market will be held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Masonic Hall, Oriental Lodge No. 13, 166 Harrison Road (Route 117). Each week a core group of 10 vendors will sell fresh produce, meat, dairy products, baked goods, handmade items and more. Various other guest vendors will be on site from time to time.
