The Brunswick Downtown Association (BDA) will host its annual tree lighting ceremony on the Brunswick Town Mall on Saturday, Nov. 26.

The event will feature performances by the Brunswick High School Chorus and the Una Voce Chamber Choir, free cookies and cocoa, an ice carving demonstration, time with Frosty and Mrs. Claus, and a visit from Santa, who will arrive on a firetruck at 2:30 p.m. Santa will flip the switch to light the tree at 5 p.m.

Adults and children of all ages are invited to celebrate the season at this festive community event.

The event starts at 2 p.m., with performances by Una Voce at 3 p.m. and the Brunswick High School Chorus at 4 p.m., leading up to the 5 p.m. tree lighting.

Nov. 26 is also Small Business Saturday, a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for our community. BDA encourages Brunswick residents to shop small at downtown stores this holiday season.

The BDA is nonprofit that promotes small businesses in Brunswick’s downtown district. For more information about the Brunswick Downtown Association, visit brunswickdowntown.org or call (207) 729-4439.
