Two people were injured during a motor vehicle crash Saturday night in the Penobscot County town of Kenduskeag, according to the Kenduskeag Fire and Rescue Department.
At about 4:25 p.m. Kenduskeag Fire-Rescue, Corinth Fire department and Levant Ambulance were called to the area of Sam’s Qwik Stop on Broadway.
Arriving at the scene, rescue workers reported one person was entrapped inside a vehicle, and was extracted by the Jaws of Life.
Two people, including the trapped person, were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Kenduskeag Fire and Rescue Department said in a written statement.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
