Andrew Lardie

Andrew Lardie has been named interim executive director at Tedford Housing, a Brunswick-based nonprofit providing housing and services for people experiencing homelessness. Lardie most recently served as president of the board of directors at Tedford, and as a coordinator for community outreach and expanded learning opportunities with the Brunswick School Department. In his new role at Tedford, Lardie will focus on completing its $8.3 million capital campaign to build a new emergency housing facility in Brunswick.

Locations Real Estate Group, based in Falmouth, recently made three hires. Christina Young has joined the firm as an associate broker, bringing to her role 24 years of real estate experience, most recently with Keller Williams. Katie Leavitt has been hired as a sales agent, after previously working at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate the Masiello Group. Nichole Umlah has joined Locations Real Estate as an associate broker. Previously, she was at Portside Real Estate Group, and has seven years of real estate experience.

Jenn Day

Jenn Day has joined the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute as a development associate. In her new role, Day will help raise funds to support the nonprofit’s mentoring and educational services for high-school girls. For nearly 30 years, Day worked as a real estate broker representing clients throughout the state. In addition, she has background in marketing, communications and education, as well as experience in board, public and community service. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business education from Thomas College as well as an associate of science degree in management from Midstate College.

Kali Pratt

Kali Pratt has joined Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, serving as a Realtor in the luxury brokerage’s downtown Portland office. Pratt began her career in graphic design and marketing, and later started her own business painting children’s furniture. She also has worked in numerous customer service-related industries.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Masiello Group has hired Dan Hussey as regional sales director for the Wells and York offices. He comes to the role with a background in consulting, market analysis and sales management, and holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Florida State University. Among his previous roles, Hussey worked for Continental Shelf Associates, PrimeTime Communities and the Gove Group Real Estate, where he oversaw sales and marketing for nearly two dozen residential communities.

Kimberly Hamilton

The Island Institute, a Rockland-based nonprofit working to sustain Maine’s island and coastal communities, has named Kimberly Hamilton as president. She had served as interim chief programs officer since September 2022, and previously oversaw the institute’s climate, economic resilience and leadership programs as a member of the senior leadership team. Her experience also includes serving as the president of FocusMaine, where she led efforts to accelerate job creation in the agriculture, aquaculture and biopharmaceutical sectors. She also has worked as the chief impact officer at Feeding America and director of strategy planning and management at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Hamilton holds a Ph.D. in demography from Brown University and a master’s degree from John Hopkins University.

Andrew Cook

Mascoma Bank has promoted Andrew Cook to senior vice president and Maine market leader. He joined Mascoma Bank in March 2022 as senior vice president and commercial loan officer after more than 14 years in financial services. For the past year, Cook has been working to expand the New Hampshire-based bank’s commercial lending relationships in Maine. He serves as chair of the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce, chair of the Maine Chapter of the American Heart Association, and board secretary for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine.
