Ashley Connor pitched a six-inning no-hitter as Cheverus earned a 12-0 win over Deering in a Class A South softball game Friday in Portland.

Anna Kennedy-Jensen, Hailey Lamontagne, Elle Picard and Delia Tremble all recorded multiple hits for Cheverus (2-1). Kennedy-Jensen stole three bases.

Deering fell to 1-6.

MARSHWOOD/BERWICK 13, THORNTON ACADEMY 12: Emily Hester tallied four RBI on four hits while collecting the win on the mound as the Hawks (3-2) held off the Trojans (0-3) in South Berwick.

Maddie Labreck added a double and a single.

Emily Coleman, Lindsay DesRoberts, Jessica Dow, Renee Gonneville and Isabelle Miner all got multiple hits for Thornton.

WINDHAM 2, GORHAM 0: Brooke Gerry pitched a three-hitter with 17 strikeouts and two walks, giving up no earned runs, as the Eagles (5-1) beat the Rams (2-3) at Gorham.

Gorham’s Amber Bretton allowed two hits, struck out seven and walked four.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 13, ST. DOMINIC 3: Cami Casserly hit a two-run single during a six-run third inning, helping the Panthers (4-0) pull away from the Saints (3-3) in a five-inning game at Yarmouth.

NYA, which finished with 12 hits, added four runs in the fourth and ended the game with a run in the fifth.

WELLS 12, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: A pair of five-run innings helped push the Warriors (4-3) past the Patriots (1-5) in Gray.

Gray-New Gloucester took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Wells got a run in the third, then added five in the fourth and five in the sixth.

Delani Brown struck out 14 while allowing five hits for the Warriors. Brown and Payton Fazzina had three hits apiece, Kylie Corbett added two, and Jayden Pelletier, Nikohl Aleman and Jada Pullen all doubled.

Maisie Lerette led Gray-NG with three hits, including a triple, and Skye Chandler recorded the other two. They each scored a run as well. Emily Carroll pitched a complete game with three strikeouts.

LAKE REGION 9, FREEPORT 1: Melissa Mayo pitched a two-hitter with 18 strikeouts as the Lakers (3-0) defeated the Falcons (2-6) at Naples.

Kylie Myers had three hits for Lake Region, including two doubles. Mayo issued two walks.

Rosie Panenka got both hits, a double and single, for the Falcons.

YORK 16, YARMOUTH 3: Maddy Raymond pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts, and McKayla Kortes had three hits, including a double and home run, to lead the Wildcats (5-1) over the Clippers (1-2) in five innings at Yarmouth.

Ella Moon added two doubles and two RBI, and Ella Hickey drove in three runs.

LACROSSE

FALMOUTH 17, OXFORD HILLS 6: Lucy Taylor notched five goals, Adelaide Tolley added four goals and an assist, and the Navigators (4-1) cruised past the Vikings (3-4) in Falmouth.

Falmouth also got three goals and two assists from Sloane Ginevan, three goals and one assist from Peaches Stucker, and two goals from Maeve Ginevan. Maisy Clement had three assists.

Kelsey Bennett led Oxford Hills with three goals.

PORTLAND 7, WAYNFLETE 6: Lilah Green tied the game with about five minutes left and Phoebe Knoll won it three minutes later as the Bulldogs (5-1) rallied past the Flyers (1-5) at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Eliza Stein led Portland with three goals. Knoll finished with two, and Elizabeth Littell also scored. Emily Seavey had three assists.

Tilsley Kelly had three goals and an assist, Lydia Birknes added two goals, and Yen Wilson got the other for Waynflete.

YARMOUTH 12, SCARBOROUGH 6: Brooke Boone and Sadie Carnes scored three goals each as the Clippers (5-2) downed the Red Storm (2-4) at Yarmouth.

Lauren Keaney and Neena Panozzo added two goals each for Yarmouth, which led 9-2 at halftime. Aine Powers and Celia Zinman also scored.

Molly Henderson scored twice for the Red Storm. Grace Carlista, Olivia O’Brien, Jaya Sahney and Fiona Betters notched the other goals.

WELLS 7, SANFORD 3: Anna Woodward tallied three goals as the Warriors (5-1) beat the Spartans (4-2) in Sanford.

Kendall Maxon chipped in with a goal and two assists. Summer Sullivan, Cali Leighton and Caitlyn Rooney also scored for Wells, and Kayla Bolton made six saves.

Emerson Tolpin scored twice and McKenna Nanartowich got the other goal for Sanford.

THORNTON ACADEMY 15, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Morgan Bolduc finished with three goals and three assists, including the 100th goal of her career, to lead the Golden Trojans (3-2) over the Red Riots (0-7) at Saco.

Natalie Hilton and Ayala Littlefield added four goals each. Emma Boissoneault also scored.

Rain Jordan and Abigail Thayer got the Red Riots’ goals.

BIDDEFORD 15, WESTBROOK 1: Abby Bouffard recorded four goals and three assists to power the Tigers (6-1) past the Blue Blazes (2-3) at Biddeford.

Cece Keller, Keelie Gregoire, Danielle Emerson and Aaliyah Fournell chipped in with two goals each. Keller also had eight assists. Nataliah Martinez finished with seven saves.

Jenita Virah scored for Westbrook. Melanie Kim made 10 saves.

LAKE REGION 9, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/POLAND 3: Carly Dyer, Bella Smith and Olivia England each scored twice and Rachel Lake go an assist for Lake Region. Lakers goalie Sam Donahue made 11 saves.

Ellie Steele, Andrea Smith and Emma MacMahon scored for the 26ers, while Mya Page stopped six shots.

MARSHWOOD 16, BONNY EAGLE 2: Lindley Gori tallied four goals and an assist, and Izzy Young and Maeve Long each scored three goals as the Hawks (4-2) handled the Scots (0-4) in Standish.

Lauren Manson and Kathryn Fullerton scored for Bonny Eagle.

CONY 16, DEERING 3: Isabella Smith, Dinah Wadleigh and Abby Morrill scored three goals apiece as Cony (5-1) won in Portland.

Shay Rosenthal scored all three goals for Deering (0-5).

LINCOLN ACADEMY 13, LAWRENCE 6: Marley LeBel posted six goals and an assist, while Mariam Delisle chipped in with three goals to lift the Eagles (4-1) over the Bulldogs (0-5) in Fairfield.

Hunter Gilmore made nine saves for Lincoln.

Madison Chamberlain scored five goals for Lawrence.

KENNEBUNK 15, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: Ivy Arementrout had five goals and an assist to lead the Rams (7-0) over the Capers (1-4) in Cape Elizabeth.

Mara Muse added three goals and an assist, Ruby Sliwkowski had two goals and five assists, and Camdyn Keenan finished with two goals and three assists. Ella Highbarger also scored two goals and Cassandra Mackenzie scored one.

Moria Concannon scored for the Capers.
