Waldrud Herman

SCARBOROUGH – Waldrud Herman, of Scarborough, passed away April 20, 2023 at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was 87.

Born in Germany, she met and married Ted Herman and they settled in Scarborough where they raised a family. She loved cooking and gardening but was most proud of her family and was always a stay-at-home mom.

She was predeceased by her beloved Ted in 2011.

Waldrud is survived by sons Ray and Tom Herman; two grandchildren; and a large extended family both in the USA and in Germany.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday June 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Community Center, 108 Hillcrest Ave., Scarborough. Burial will be private.
