Aiden MacFawn drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh as Poland handed Cape Elizabeth its first baseball of the season, 4-3 on Monday at Poland.

The Knights (5-5) were held scoreless until breaking through with three runs in the sixth. MacFawn had two hits, as did winning pitcher Adam Gwarjanski and Gene Grant. Drew Sayler contributed a double.

Brady Inman, Gabe Harmon, Owen Tighe and Charlie Song all hit doubles for Cape Elizabeth (8-1). Harmon and Inman had two hits apiece, and Harmon took the loss.

WINDHAM 5, SCARBOROUGH 4: Blake Peeples lined a single down the third-base line to drive in Logan Marden for the winning run in the bottom of the eighth as the Eagles (3-6) beat the Red Storm (7-2) at Windham.

Marden and Wyatt Washburn had two hits apiece for Windham, and starter Peeples threw a complete game five-hitter, allowing two earned runs with one strikeout and walk.

Zach Zanders had a triple for Scarborough.

YARMOUTH 12, GREELY 2: Andrew Cheever had five hits, drove in three runs, scored three times and pitched the final inning to lead the Clippers (7-2) to a win over the Rangers (6-5) at Cumberland.
David Swift added three hits and Jonny Cody had two RBI for the Clippers, who scored four times in the first inning, added five runs in the second and won their sixth straight game.
Liam Hickey allowed two unearned runs in six innings and earned his third win of the year.
The Rangers committed five errors.

YORK 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4: The Wildcats (5-6) scored four runs in the fifth inning to beat the Patriots (2-9) at Gray.

Bradley Carr had two hits and two RBI and Conor Fell hit a double and drove in a run for York. Ben Brown allowed seven hits and four runs (three earned) in five innings, striking out eight. Reliever Alex Taylor struck out two in two hitless innings.

Colby Dehetre, Ian Libby and Abe Bouchard each had two hits for Gray-New Gloucester. Libby homered and drove in three runs, and Jake Maschino hit a double.

MORSE 2, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: The Shipbuilders (5-6) scored in the bottom of the seventh inning to top the Eagles (1-8) in Bath.

Calin Gould got the win. Jason Bussey smacked a double for the Shipbuilders.

Gabe Hagar took the loss for Lincoln Academy.

FALMOUTH 14, YARMOUTH 9: Gio Guerrette scored five goals as the Navigators (8-1) beat the Clippers (6-3) at Falmouth.

Hayden Davis scored three goals for Falmouth and Joey Guerrette had two. Caden Barnard, Cyrus Boothby, Ty Garlock and Zach Mitton all scored once.

GORHAM 10, DEERING 8: Ryker Spear totaled five goals to power Gorham (4-5) to a home victory over Deering (4-5).
