Ayden Collins went 3 for 4 with a double, and drove in three runs as Wells topped Cape Elizabeth 7-1 Monday in a baseball game at Wells.

Starter Spencer Carpentier went five innings for Wells (9-4), allowing one run on three hits with a pair of strike outs. He also added a pair of hits and two RBI, and Caleb Moody added a pair of hits.

Owen Tighe had a pair of hits for Cape Elizabeth (10-3).

YARMOUTH 10, FREEPORT 1: An eight-run sixth inning broke open a close game and propelled the Clippers (10-2) over the visiting Falcons (7-6) for their ninth consecutive victory.

David Swift doubled twice, scored two runs and drove in a pair, Andrew Cheever added three hits and Liam Hickey allowed just one unearned run in six innings.

The Falcons only gave up one earned run, but were doomed by five errors. Aaron Converse had a pair of hits, including a double.

FALMOUTH 5, MASSABESIC 3: Jacoby Porter had an RBI double, two runs scored and collected the win to lead the Navigators (11-1) over the Mustangs (6-7) in Falmouth.

Peyton Mitchell added an RBI double for Falmouth. Mitchell Ham and Brennan Rumpf both drove a run.

Bryden Marcotte had an RBI double and a solo homer for Massabesic.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 15, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 7: Michael Malia and Edgar Real each homered and the Raiders (9-5) pulled away to beat the Patriots (2-12) in Gray.

Fryeburg took a 9-0 lead with two runs in the top of the fourth before Gray-New Gloucester scored all of its runs in the bottom half of the inning. Zach Pelletier’s grand slam highlighted the rally. The Raiders then added two insurance runs in the sixth and four more in the seventh.

Drew Reynolds had two of the Patriots’ seven hits, and Nick Geer and Andrew Keddy each doubled.

Real and Alex Allain both had three hits for the Raiders, with Allain, Bryan Martinez Chavez and Caleb Micklon all hitting doubles.

WAYNFLETE/NYA 12, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Cal Nice powered led the Flyers (13-1) with a pair of home runs and seven RBI as they handled the Seagulls (2-12) at Portland.

Daxton St. Hilaire had a double and single for Waynflete/NYA, and Lincoln Smith added a pair of hits.

SACOPEE VALLEY 6, ST. DOMINIC 5: Keegan Thibodeau lined a shot to right-center field, driving in Brady Metcalf to break a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the seventh as the Hawks (12-0) walked off the Saints (9-4) at Hiram.

Caleb Vacchiano blasted a two-run homer to pull Sacopee Valley even at 5 in the seventh.

Metcalf, Carson Black and Vacchiano had two hits apiece for the Hawks.

YORK 7, POLAND 3: The Wildcats (7-6) scored all their runs in the first three innings to take down the Knights (5-8) in York.

Benjamin Brown, Jack Jellison and Jack Joyce each doubled and Jacob Fogg hit a pair of singles for York, which put together three-run innings in the first and third. Brown picked up the win, scattering five hits.

Sam Paladino and Aiden MacFawn both had two hits for Poland. Drew Sayler gave up nine hits in six innings.

LACROSSE

MT. ARARAT 14, CAMDEN HILLS 4: Zander Kirk had three goals and seven assists, leading the Eagles (7-5) over the Windjammers (5-7) in Camden.

Andrew Calhoun, Brennan Fitzpatrick and Wes Wallace all chipped in three goals for Mt. Ararat. John Martin had two goals and four assists and Nelson Balboni made 12 saves.

NOBLE/SANFORD 18, TRAIP ACADEMY 7: Ayden Lockard had six goals, and Sunny Johnson and Carter Soneau each added three in a win for Noble/Sanford (8-4) against the Rangers (4-7) in Kittery.
