In defense of Nancy Chesley’s May 26 comments questioning why Brunswick keeps accepting asylum seekers, I, too, wonder how the many Brunswick families and homeless folks are feeling about being left out of the new housing being built for asylum seekers at Brunswick Landing. Our own citizens needing such accommodations are also worthy of being on a waiting list. Seems to me that the “poor soul” referenced by Faith Moll’s comments June 2 should read “poor souls” to include all people in the Brunswick area waiting for such an opportunity.
