One young man died and another is in critical condition after a motor vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Casco.
According to a press release from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved two vehicles, one of which left the road and struck a group of trees.
One of the occupants of that vehicle, Dylan Chretien, 19, of Bridgton, died at the scene. Another, 20-year-old Nicholas Centofanti, 20, of Casco, was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland with critical injuries.
The crash occurred on Tenney Hill Road, which runs between Route 11 and Route 302.
Police are still investigating the circumstances.
