WESTBROOK – Patricia Frances Haynes Santamore, 66, of Westbrook, passed away on Sept. 17, 2023. Born on July 12, 1957, in Portland, Patricia was a loving wife and mother, caring sister, and devoted Nanny to her grandkids. Her kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sidney J. Santamore; her three daughters, Jennifer L. Riche and husband Robert of Windham, Amanda C. Santamore of Westbrook, and Rebecca R. Allen and husband Richard of Gorham. She is also survived by her sister, Monica Thistlewood, and husband Brian of Lewiston, and her two brothers, Kenneth Stephen Haynes and Dennis Michael Haynes, both of Windham. Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love and is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kaitylnn, Daniel, Ethan, Brayden, Gage, Addison, Brynn, and Wyatt; as well as a large extended family. Her beloved dog, Harley James, will also miss her dearly.
Patricia attended Portland High School, class of 1976, and went on to attend Andover College. She dedicated over 20 years of her life working as an administrative assistant for Eye Care Medical Group in Portland, where her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many.
Outside of her career, Patricia had a zest for life. She enjoyed going for walks, spending time at the beach, and going on adventures with her kids, grandkids, and husband. During the summer, she looked forward to vacationing in Bar Harbor or on Sebago Lake with her family. These cherished moments brought her immense joy and created lasting memories.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 21, 2023 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue. Private Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery.
